How to Child Proof an Android (with Pictures)

Android is a powerful device for getting information-including some that children really shouldn't have. You can solve this problem by getting an app to lock your Android when you let children use it.
STEPS

SEARCH FOR "KIDS PLACE-PARENTAL CONTROL" IN THE PLAY STORE APP. Select it from the list.

INSTALL THE APP. Open it and then enter your PIN. Click "Update PIN" once you've entered the PIN twice.

CLICK THE GREEN BUTTON MARKED "SELECT APPS FOR KIDS PLACE" AT THE TOP OF THE APP. Check the boxes next to apps you want to add and then click the button in the bottom right to add them. This makes it so children can only use the apps that you specify.

CLICK THE MENU BUTTON. Select "Lock Home Button" in the settings screen. This prevents children from exiting out of the locked app.

TIPS
You can customize other options from the settings screen as well such as blocking Android marketplace, or making apps restart again automatically for children who are prone to exiting by accident.

Make sure you don't make your pin something too easy to guess like one with all the same number.
